We are very pleased to have secured a great venue for our next T&RS – the Advanced Propulsion Centre at Warwick University. This is the Government funded centre for future propulsion systems across a range of industries. Whilst this originally targeted Automotive, RIA has now successfully established rail as an industry APC wants to work with and support in our transition to decarbonised propulsion. There is funding of at least £30m in 2020 to help this happen. We will get a chance to understand the work of APC and also the associated Battery Integration Centre, with presentations on both.

Siemens Head of Business Development, Strategy and Innovation Luca Fracassi will share their innovation portfolio and how suppliers can engage with Siemens.
James Wright, Air Quality Specialist at RSSB will present the Rail Industry Air Quality Strategic Framework.
And, finally, Chris Llewellyn, Assurance Engineer at SGS will give a standards update, so please do register today, so you do not miss this amazing event!
