RIA Major Project Challenge – ‘Excellence in Major Projects’, call for evidence workshop

RIA would like to invite its members to join a workshop to kick off a proposed Major Projects Challenge initiative this autumn. As members know, some major rail projects are well delivered, whilst others experience cost and delay issues; and this workshop will look at how we can learn from both the successes and challenges of these projects, and ensure confidence in the rail industry’s capability to deliver. This will be a positive, forward-looking exercise to see how suppliers and customers can work together on the multiple factors involved with major projects, to achieve the best possible outcomes in future.
RIA knows that our members will have various ideas and inputs, and we want to bring that knowledge together in this initiative, which we expect will ultimately form the basis of an authoritative report promoting major project excellence. We hope to see you there!
