Join the next Traction & Rolling Stock Technical Interest Group meeting is being hosted by Bombardier at their Rail Vehicles Production Site in Derby on 31 October 2019. The meeting will start at 10:00 and end around 14:00 with a networking lunch in between the sessions, and a tour around the site. Network Rail's Senior Strategic Planner Steven Hart will give an update on the Traction Decarbonisation Network Strategy programme and SGS Rail Services Assurance Engineer Chris Llewellyn will give an update on European and international electrical railway standards. Head of Plant and Traction & Rolling Stock at Network Rail Rashid Wahidi and Professional Head of System Compatibility at Network Rail David Galloway will discuss new vehicle introduction and fleet cascades. Speaker from RSSB, will brief us on the latest position on the changes to the Entities in Charge of Maintenance (ECM) regulations which, one way or another, will come into force in due course.
