Join our Safety, Standards & Sustainability Technical Interest Group meeting taking place in London on 21 January 2020. The meeting will start at 10:00 and finish at 14:00.
With John Halsall of TSP Projects talking about the work of the Rail Infrastructure Sustainability Forum (RISF) and presenting a case study on early design environmental management. Lynsey Gilfillan - chair of Infrastructure Safety Leadership Group (ISLG) – will provide us with an update on the Safety Taskforce. Janine Fountain and Keren Moxey of Network Rail will be sharing the challenges to industry thrown out by the R&D Programme Sustainability Portfolio, a valuable opportunity to take a look into the future. RSSB’s Director of Standards, Tom Lee, will be updating us the industry standards strategy, the ISCC annual report and on RSSB’s business planning where there is an opportunity to make inputs. Plus of course our host, RIA member company Skanska Infrastructures will present the opportunities for low carbon infrastructure, presentation delivered by their Sustainability Operations Director Chris Hayes.
