New features confirmed for highly anticipated rail industry showcase Railtex/Infrarail 2021

23 September 2020 | Railtex / Infrarail 2021

Despite the extraordinary and challenging circumstances the rail industry is currently operating in, response to the first ever co-located Railtex/Infrarail 2021 event has been excellent.

Returning exhibitors and new businesses are confirming their presence at the show in strong numbers since booking has reopened, with many eager to engage and support the market’s recovery.

To help businesses get the most from and add value to their participation at the show, organiser Mack Brooks Exhibitions has announced several new features that will premiere at the show, which takes place next May 11th -13th at Birmingham’s NEC.

The new Plant and Machinery Incentive will allow exhibiting organisations to bring and display larger products used on railway works at their stands. This will provide an ideal opportunity to display the latest products and technology to a targeted audience at an affordable price.

The First Time Exhibitor Zone is another new feature that is set to be popular, a dedicated area on the exhibition floor reserved solely for companies exhibiting for the first time.

Additionally, the Meet The Buyer programme and Matchmaking Services, both appearing for the first time, will enable a combination of individual and targeted lead generation.

RIA’s Meet the Buyer/Commercial Officer programme will consist of pre-booked meeting slots with a range of UK and overseas rail buyers for prospective visitors, while the dedicated Matchmaking Service will allow registered users to search and connect with new and existing business contacts, manage event schedules and arrange meetings on exhibitor stands and in a dedicated matchmaking lounge.

Natig Asadullaev, Railtex/Infrarail 2021 Exhibition Manager, says in the midst of the challenges brought on by the Coronavirus pandemic, next year’s exhibition can be a perfect opportunity to galvanise the rail industry and bring people together:

“While we have only recently started the stand booking process, we’ve been very pleased that despite all the current challenges, there has been a great demand to participate at Railtex/Infrarail 2021.

“It is impossible to ignore the difficult circumstances facing our industry and wider society, but this interest in the exhibition shows that people are keen to work together and keep rail moving as a sector. There are so many brilliant projects and innovations underway at the moment and Railtex/Infrarail 2021 is the ideal location to meet and discuss your ideas, products and services.

Natig added: “I believe now more than ever it is important for us to come together and help each other get the best out of our industry and I hope people will recognise this and join us at the NEC Birmingham next May to showcase the best of UK rail.”
