SME & Tier 1 Engagement in Wales & Western

We are delighted to announce this joint event with Network Rail Wales and Western, which will look at engagement betwee Tier 1s and SMEs in the W&W region and how SMEs can best engage with or break into the rail industry.

This event aims to help Tier 1s work effectively with SMEs - including new entrants to rail - by showcasing best practice and positive examples. We also aim to educate SMEs on how they can work effectively with Network Rail and Tier 1s, improving understanding amongst SMEs on where they can fit within the supply chain.

We have the following Tier 1s confirmed to speak with attendees on best practice and present problem statements that could be filled by SMEs:
  • Balfour Beatty
  • Colas Rail
  • AmcoGiffen
We will also hear from Network Rail on priorities for CP7, and hear from various stakeholders on rail accreditations, tender guidance, product acceptance, social value, zero carbon and more. Attendees will be able to join various sessions on each theme.

This event is open to all suppliers.
